Maybe you are in interested in knowing God more intimately, need encouragement, or perhaps you are at a point in your life where you feel like the children of Israel: traveling aimlessly through the desert of life and have become weary and tired. If the things of this world are no longer appeasing to you and have left you starving for truth, I implore you to come, look around and allow your spirit to be refreshed by the word of God. In Exodus 16:12 (NKJV) God states, “I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying ‘at twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD.” God’s manna is nourishing and fulfilling. Moreover, verse 31 goes on to say” [God’s manna] it was like wafers made with honey.” Beloved, God’s love is sweeter than anything you could ever know in this bitter world. Find comfort in the fact that I have been through some of the same things you are probably going through right now: The hierarchies of a promising career, failed marriage/relationships, internal fears, and outward struggles; but God has delivered me from them all (Psalm 34:19)! At this very moment you may even be wondering how are you going to survive financially and emotionally in this tough world. Perhaps you stumbled across this page looking for an encouraging word. Well, I’m glad you are here! This life is filled with its challenges and difficulties, but I have learned how to defeat the enemy by applying the word of God (Holy Bible) to every situation in my life. Hallelujah! Nonetheless, I too am still learning, growing and evolving in the things God wants to teach me, and hopefully together we can grow into the beautiful human beings God divinely created us to be. Psalm 139:14, says “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Although our relationship with God is by spirit and He is no longer with us on earth incarnate as in the New Testament; however, He still performs the same miracles and wonders today! More, we are God’s physical body here on earth and He desires to use us as a conduit to preach the Gospel (Mark 16:15), and to reach the lost. I have overcome life-threatening defeats and obstacles which have grounded me deeper into the things of God and I believe He has allowed me to live the life that I have lived in order to be a vehicle for deliverance and a testimony for many who come behind me. Matthew 10:42, says “whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.” Beloved, whether you have stopped by because you are hungry for a full meal of the word or are thirsty for just a cup of cold water, our hope is that this blog will teach, heal, edify, and encourage! Most importantly, we pray that you will find God here. In Matthew 18:20, it says,” For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” I love you, and so does God!
